Go Bowfishing

Bowfishing is a method of fishing that utilizes specialized archery equipment to shoot and retrieve fish. Fish are shot with a barbed arrow that is attached with special line to a reel on the bow. Some freshwater species commonly bowfished for include common carp, grass carp, bighead carp, alligator gar, TQ Adventures’ bowfishing trip is fully guided, with both left handed and right handed bows, a 20 foot customized Diamondback airboat and a 21 foot customized kicker boat.We hunt almost anywhere--your choice or mine! All you need is a valid fishing license for the state we will be fishing in. Don’t miss out on this fun!!!!

Your bowfishing trip will start approximately one hour before dark.Your guide will go over equipment and boating safety before you leave the boat ramp. Once you arrive at our fishing spot, you will have the chance to get familiar with the equipment and take a few practice shots to get comfortable.To be the most successful in a night of bowfishing, we highly recommend you bring your own equipment.You may be much more successful with equipment you are familiar with.

Lakes and rivers that are long distance such as the Tennessee River, Lake Wheeler down to Watts Bar, an additional $100 for travel will be charged unless you decide you need a 2 night adventure then the additional travel fee will be $50.
